We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at our discretion. If you use our Services on behalf of another individual (such as a dependent) or an entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept this Policy on their behalf.
1. Why This Privacy Policy?
HealthChip Technologies Private Limited ("GoClinica," "we," "us," or "our") operates the internet resource at www.goclinica.com and the GoClinica mobile application. This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with applicable Indian law, including:

- •The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- •The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
- •The Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
- •The Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
- •Cybersecurity Directions issued by CERT-In under Section 70B of the IT Act, 2000.
This policy outlines: data types collected, data lifecycle (purpose, methods, retention), disclosure practices, your rights regarding data access, correction, and erasure, and how your information is stored and safeguarded.
The Website and the Services are intended solely for individuals located in India. GoClinica does not direct, target, or market the Services toward individuals located outside India.

- •Insurance Information: insurance carrier and plan details.

- •Practitioner Data: information provided by healthcare Practitioners regarding treatment.
Classification of Information
- •Personal Information: any information that relates to a natural person which can identify that person.
- •Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI): passwords, financial information, health conditions, medical records, sexual orientation, biometric information.
Given the sensitive nature of health-related information, GoClinica seeks your explicit, informed consent before collecting or processing any SPDI.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
GoClinica processes your Personal Information and SPDI on the basis of your consent. Once the relevant provisions of the DPDP Act come into force, GoClinica shall additionally rely on "legitimate uses" recognized under the DPDP Act as an alternative lawful basis.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@goclinica.com. Withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to such withdrawal, and may result in GoClinica being unable to continue providing some or all Services.
4. Use of Information
We may use your Personal Information and SPDI to:

- •Payments are processed through secure, encrypted third-party gateways. We do not store full card numbers.
- •We automatically collect technical data (IP address, browser type, OS) to analyze trends and improve service.

6. Practitioners Note
As part of registration and profile creation, we collect various data from Practitioners. By providing information to us, you grant GoClinica the right to collect, process, and disclose it for the purposes stated in this Policy.
- •Identify and represent you on our platform.
- •Conduct research and statistical analysis in aggregated form.
- •Publish your information on the Website to facilitate End-User searches and appointment bookings.
- •Contact you regarding product feedback or new service offerings.
- •Analyze software usage and practice information to improve product design.
GoClinica automatically lists information for doctors and clinics added to a practice via our software. Practitioners are strongly encouraged to regularly review their profile information and notify us of discrepancies.
7. End-Users Note
We collect Personal Information and SPDI during registration. You own your personally identifiable information. GoClinica exclusively owns non-personally identifiable information derived from your use of the Services.
- •We may use and share anonymized, aggregated data for research and business intelligence.
- •GoClinica shall not sell or disclose your identifiable SPDI to third parties for independent commercial use.
- •We may maintain records of communications for administrative, support, and research purposes.
- •In the event of a merger or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring party.
- •We may share your data with third-party contractors necessary to deliver our Services under strict confidentiality.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
GoClinica retains Personal Information and SPDI for as long as your account is active, or as reasonably necessary to fulfil collection purposes, subject to applicable law.
GoClinica may retain certain information for longer periods where required to comply with statutory record-keeping obligations applicable to healthcare records, to establish or defend legal claims, or as required under the IG Rules (minimum 180 days following a takedown).
You may request cancellation of your account or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@goclinica.com.
9. Your Rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you may be entitled to:
- •Obtain a summary of the Personal Data being processed and the processing activities.
- •Correction, updating, and completion of your Personal Data.
- •Erasure of your Personal Data (unless retention is required by law).
- •Grievance redressal.
- •Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.

10. Data Storage & International Operations
Your Personal Information is primarily stored and processed in accordance with the data protection laws of India. As GoClinica grows, it may operate in countries other than India. Where this is the case, GoClinica shall ensure your information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Children's & Minors' Privacy
GoClinica's Services are intended for use by individuals 18 years or older. No minor may independently create or maintain an account. A minor's profile may only be created as a dependent profile under a parent or lawful guardian.
GoClinica shall not knowingly undertake behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.
12. Changes to This Policy
GoClinica reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via our Website or email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
